OTHERS PRESENT: Alane Van Donsel Secretary, Daniel Ellis II Town Attorney, Karen Cushman Alternate, Adam Brown Zoning Officer APPLICANTS & PUBLIC PRESENT: Donald Dunham, Gregg Keihl, Stanley & Robin Pierce RESOLUTION #22-011 A PUBLIC HEARING WAS CALLED: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting and public hearing will be held before the Town of Virgil Planning Board on February 28, 2022, at 7 p.m. at the Virgil Town Hall 1176 Church Street, Virgil NY 13045. This meeting and public hearing is being held to consider the following application for a subdivision approval for Gregg Kiehl, 2532 Holler Road, Virgil, NY tax map# 116.00-02-04.000. They are seeking to subdivide off a 5.8 +/- acre lot from the parent parcel of 10.52 acres. The above application is available at www.virgilny.org or contact the office of the Town Clerk at (607) 835- 6174, Ext. 2. Persons wishing to speak may do so in person, by attorney, or by another representative. Communications in writing in relation to this subdivision may be filed ahead of time with the Virgil Town Clerk or at the public hearing. A legal Notice was posted on Feb. 24, 2022, in the Cortland Standard 7:00 PM THE PUBLIC HEARINGS WERE CALLED TO ORDER BY PLANNING BOARD CHAIR MARK BARANELLO SUBDIVISION FOR SHERMAN AT 2532 HOLLER ROAD: Gregg Keihl and Donald Dunham owners of 116-02-04.000, located at 2532 Holler Road, Virgil, NY. Filed an application for a subdivision. They would like to subdivide off 5.8+/- acres from their parent parcel of 10.52 acres and sell it to their neighbors Stanley and Robin Pierce. The Public Hearing ended at 7:04 PM 7:04 PM THE REGULAR PORTION OF THE PLANNING BOARD MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER BY PLANNING BOARD CHAIR MARK BARANELLO OLD BUSINESS: NONE NEW BUSINESS: RESOLUTION #22-012 NEGATIVE DECLARATION UNDER SEQR FOR THE SITE PLAN REVIEW OF PROPRTY LOCATED AT 2532 HOLLER ROAD: Member Dale Taylor made a motion to approve a negative declaration on the SEQR review on the site plan review of the proposed subdivision of 2532 Holler Road. Member Mark Baranello seconded the motion. Vote: Ayes Chairman Baranello, Members Hollenbeck, Cook & Taylor. Nays: None Motion Carried RESOLUTION #21-013 APPROVAL OF THE SITE PLAN REVIEW OF THE PROPRTY LOCATED 2532 HOLLER ROAD TAX MAP#116.00-02- 04.000: Member Dale Taylor made a motion at approve the site plan review of the proposed subdivision of 2532 Holler Road provided that a survey map is submitted and filed with the county as per the Cortland County’s recommendation. The motion was seconded by Member Sara Hollenbeck. Vote: Ayes Chairman Baranello, Members Hollenbeck, Cook & Taylor. Nays: None Motion Carried TABLE PLANNING BOARD MINUTES FROM JANUARY 24, 2022: Chairman Baranello stated that they are going to table the minutes from January 24, 2024, because they didn’t have a quorum of members who were present at the meeting. DISSCUSSION: There was some discussion on the Haynes Ice cream Store project. The planning Board looked at the map. Adam Brown mentioned some training opportunities coming up. With no further business to discuss, Chairman Baranello asked for a motion adjourn the meeting at 7:40 PM. Member Dale Taylor motioned to adjourn. Member Sylvia Cook seconded the motion. Vote: Ayes Chairman Baranello, Members Hollenbeck, Cook & Taylor.
