TOWN BOARD:
CLMN.ROBERTS REPORTED THAT SHE SAT IN ON GRIEVANCE DAY
CLMN. TAGLIAVENTO REPORTED THAT THE POND WOULD NOT OPEN
THIS SUMMER, HEALTH DEPT, SAYS WATER CLOUDY, WILL TRY
TO GET OUT OF CONTRACT.
CLMN, DIETRICH REPORTED THAT THE STATE AMINABLE TO THAT,
STILL LEAVES US WITH A PROBLEM OF WHAT TO DO THERE.
CLMN, TAGLIAVENTO CHECKING INTO BUSING THE SAME AS THE
LAST TWO YEARS, FOR SUMMER RECREATION TO BUTTERMILK.
SUPERVISOR BURDICK SAID WE SHOULD LOOK BACK IN THE
MINUTES TO SEE IF A RESOLUTION WAS MADE TO OPEN THE
POND, IF SO THEN A RESOLUTION WILL HAVE TO BE MADE TO
CLOSE THE POND AT THE NEXT MEETING.
FRANK PROTO: CONTRARY TO WHAT DOROTHY SAID I THOUGHT
WE HAD A VERY HOT TIME GRIEVANCE DAY, ONE PROBLEM WITH
THE BREAKDOWN OF PROPERTY, COUNTY BOARD MEETING, NEXT
TUESDAY, WILL VOTE ON THE EAST ITHACA TRANSIT STUDY,
REVIEWING TRAFFIC CONJESTION IN EAST ITHACA, WITH A
COMPUTER STUDY AND GEOGRAPHIC AREAS. BANKS ROAD BRIDGE
PROJECT STARTED AND SHOULD BE COMPLETED BY THE TIME SCHOOL
STARTS. DANBY SHOULD BE REVIEVING A REPORT FROM M. LUSTER
REGARDING DEVELOPMENT ULYSSES, JUNE 14th, FLAG DAY,
WEST DANBY FIRE DEPT WILL BE THERE, NO DANBY TRUCK.
FIRST PASS OF THE COUNTY BUDGET WITH NO MORE THAN 3%
INCREASE WITH THE EXCEPTION OF TC3, WHICH WILL PROBABLY
COME IN WITH A 10% INCREASE, AS THE GOVENOR DID NOT
APPROVE F.T.E. FOR THE STUDENTS. LANDFILL, FRANK PROTO
GOES ON RECORD AS OPPOSING LANDFILL FOR DANBY EITHER
SITE AND ALSO LANDSTROM SITE, SPECIAL MEETING ADDRESSING
BENEFIT SHARING, BAILING CONCEPT, VOLUMNE REDUCTION
WATER WELL CONTAMINATION, BASE LINE TEST, WITHIN GIVEN
AREA, COUNTY TO PICK UP COST, COUNTY LIABLE UPON PROOF
OF POLUTION, TIPPING FEES DISCUSSED, WED., 10th, BUY
OUT AREAS, HOSTS TOWNS, CREDIT MAY BE A ONE TIME CREDIT?
FOR THE LOSS OF THE PROPERTY FROM TAX ROLLS, COUNTY
OFFICES MOVING TO OTHER AREAS.
SUPERVISOR BURDICK: BOB DUTCHER GAVE ME A PUD FOR A
PET CEMETERY, ON STEAM MILL ROAD. REFERRING TO PLANNING
BOARD, MEETING THE 17th, GAVE PLANS TO DON GRAHAM.
