thought a special district or districts should be considered for places like
West Danby, where a lot of the housing is currently non - conforming because of
lot size or setback violations. Don Graham said he thought that problem could
better be addressed with a change in wording which would make it easier to
expand non - conforming structures if the change didn't increase the degree of
non - conformance (by adding on in back, for instance, which is theoretically
prohibited at present for non - conforming buildings). While agreeing that
these issues needed to be addressed, we decided to finish covering the section

we scheduled a work session for Wednesday, January 29 (later cancelled).

Regular Agenda
Don Graham proposed that we turn our attention once again to the pro-
posed zoning ordinance revision. Joel said he thought we were going
to go back to the 1980 revision first. On further inquiry, it became
clear that as a result of discussions between Don Burdick and Don Graham
It had been agreed to use the '00 revision as a reference only and to
resume working on the more recent draft where the Planning Board left
off in November. Carol Benjamin expressed reluctance to do that, citing
her growing conviction that a new zone needs to be added to the Ordinance
which would encompass some of the less built -uD areas of the Town.
