Donald Graham reported the planning board refused the planned
unit development application from Ithaca Theater Lighting for
its three proposed uses: 1. Ithaca Theater Lighting, 2. Storage
use by Ithaca School District, 3. Finger Lakes School.
The former Danby School is also being used for recreational
activities by the residents as well the grounds (baseball);
because of this, no recommendations can be given by the planning
board.
Mr. Pierce, president of Ithaca Theater Lighting, asked the
board to hold a public hearing on their proposal.
Mrs. Clermont pointed out a public hearing cannot take place
until Ithaca Theater Lighting presents a copy of the purchase
agreement between Ithaca City School District and ITL. 1.
Mr. Pierce said the school district has not signed the purchase
offer.
Mrs. Clermont said the town can do nothing more until the
purchase agreement has been recieved.
Councilman Dietrich moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:45 Pt•1,
seconded by Councilperson Roberts, carried by a vote of five
ayes and no noes.
Respectfully submitted
