HomeMy WebLinkAbout1983-06-02• n U 0 TOWN OF DANBY SPECIAL BOARD MEETING June 2, 1983 MINUTES A special meeting of the Danby Town Board was called to order at 5:59 PM at the Danby Town Hall, 1830 Danby Road, Town of Danby, County of Tompkins, and State of New York on June 2, 1983. The purpose of this meeting is to fill the vacancy of councilperson on the town board. Supervisor Miller reported there has been a vacancy as of May 31 for Councilperson. A resolution is needed to appoint Dorothy Roberts to fill the vacancy until December 31. Councilperson Mary Oltz as Councilperson for the person Sylvia Hiney. RESOLUTION #19 moved that the board appoint Dorothy Roberts Town of Danby and seconded by Council- APPOINT DOROTHY ROBERTS AS COUNCIL - PERSON FOR THE TOWN OF DANBY TO FILL THE VACANCY UNTIL DECEMBER 319 19830 Roll call vote: Councilperson Hiney -aye Councilman Merritt - aye Councilperson Oltz - aye Supervisor Miller - aye Carried by a vote of four ayes and no noes. Councilman Ted Merritt made the motion to adjourn 6 :03 PM and seconded by Councilperson Sylvia Hiney by a vote of four ayes and no noes.
