TOWN OF DANBY
SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING
Julv 26, 1982
A special meeting of the Danby Town Board was held
Town Hall, 1830 Danby Road, Town of Danby, County
State of New York, July 26, 1982. The purpose of
was to approve the 1982 -83 election inspectors.

Others present: Highway superintendent, Roy Hornbrook, Frank
Haskins, Ed Slights.
The meeting was called to order at 7;50 PM by Supervisor Mildred
Miller.
Councilperson Mary Oltz requested that in the future Public Hear-
ings be set by the Town Board at a public meeting as required by
Law and all other legal requirement be followed.
Contract for resolution re: Bruce's Planned Development was
presented by Supervisor Miller with necessary changes with
addition of retail tractor and sales and service operation and
further authorize auto and small engine repair and construction
of a 30 x 60 foot steel building. Also in the contract was in-
cluded that if the area becomes cluttered Mr. Bruce will need
to install a fence.
Communications;
Letter read from NYS Assessment requesting our membership. Gen-
eral discussion followed. The Board felt we should join this
Association to help keep us informed of changes.
The Town Town Clerk is requesting permission to attend Town Clerk
School in Albany August 23 and 24. Councilperson Dorothy Roberts
made the motion that she attend this school. It was seconded by
Councilperson Mary Oltz.
The Town Clerk

Zoning Officer's
reports for the
months of April,
May and
June
for board's
approval.
The Clerk submitted a list of the election. inspectors to be
appointed for a one year term beginning July 15, 1982 and enging
July 14, 1983. The names are as follows:

Councilperson Mary Oltz made the motion that these people be
appointed to serve as election inspectors for the town for a one
year term and seconded by Councilperson Sylvia Hiney and carried
by a vote of four ayes and no noes.
Supervisor Miller read the resolution drawn up by the town att-
orney showing inclusion to former resolution for Bruce's Planned
Unit Development.

The resolution was moved by Supervisor Miller and seconded by
Councilperson Dorothy Roberts.
General Fund Warrant #7A in the amount of $196.71 was approved to
be paid as well as Federal Revenue Sharing, Cayuga Stone amount
$58.36. Motion. made by Councilperson Mary Oltz and seconded by
Councilperson Dorothy Roberts and carried by the affirmative vote
of four ayes and no noes.
Highway Fund Warrant #7A in the amount of $525.14 was approved to
be paid. Motion made by Councilperson 'Mary Oltz and seconded by
Councilperson Dorothy Roberts and carried by the affirmative vote
of four ayes and no noes.
Supervisor Miller reported there has been complaints about the con-
dition of Troy Road and is requesting highway department repair
this road very soon.
At 80#40 PoM* Councilperson Dorothy Roberts made the motion to ad-
journ the meeting, seconded by Councilperson Sylvia Hiney.
