M . The purpose of the meeting was to complete the preliminary budget for the town for 1978 and also to award the contract for the purchase of a cinder spreader for the highway department . Board members present : Supervisor A . Francis Wright • Councilman Ralph Wilbur Councilman Paul Smith Justice Floyd Dorn Justice Milton Todd Others present : Joseph Hulbert , Onalee Wright The bids received and opened at a special meeting held October 10 , 1977 for a cinder spreader for the highway department were discussed . The low bid of $ 4 , 726 . 00 submitted by D . W . Clark Equipment Co . was found not to meet specifications and could not be accepted . The bid submitted by Hanna & Hamilton which was the next lowest bid in the amount of $ 4 , 766 . 34 was found to meet all specifications . Justice Milton Todd moved a resolution to award the contract for the purchase of the cinder spreader from Hanna and Hamilton for the purchase price of $ 4 , 766 . 34 . This amount to be paid from revenue sharing funds . The motion was seconded by Councilman Paul Smith . RESOLUTION ## 27 AWARD • CONTRACTsFOR -THE PURCHASE . OF A CINDER SPREADER TO HANNA & HAMILTON FOR THE PURCHASE PRICE OF $ 4 , 766 . 34 Roll Call Vote : Wright - aye Wilbur - aye Smith - aye Todd - aye Dorn - aye Carried by a vote of five ayes and no noes .
