1. Status of current Easements when are you monitoring your easement in 2025? Have
monitoring reports for previous years been found and put in easement folder? See
Easement list in Conservation Easements folder for parcels and parcel parents.
2. Easement outreach. Anyone you can contact from the list of 20+ acres/contiguous-to-
conserved-lands list of owners ? see Easement Outreach folder
3. How to talk about easements to prospective Danby land owners. What is possible and
impossible in each zone. What are some of the special ‘bespoke’ arrangements that we
have set up in the past. Does anyone want more discussion of this item?
4. How to apply for tax benefits of easement. Report from Brittany
5. JZ soil compaction research?
6. Curtis boundary issue. 29 Durfee Hill. any news?
7. Updates on on-going easements
a)Sherman – do we still need Parcel boundary description ?
b)Olsefsky- more contact with landowner?
c) Altman - Waiting to hear back from Ben on final 2 items, JZ will discuss with Ben
‘vision statement’ for landowner items that aren’t enforceable
8.Timber Harvesting Law has been presented to TB, public hearing will be in October and
TB will vote on it then DRAFT Town of Danby NY Timber Harvesting Regulations - clean 2025

9. Firm up date and publicity for presentation on Lindsey Parsons bird banding station.
