(4) TOWN BOARD LIAISON REPORT
Town board member Connors was unavailable, so Supervisor Gagnon provided the
report:
- The Board passed “Safe Streets for All.” This initiative identifies the largest road-related
hazards in Danby, and brings in experts to advice on risk reduction in those areas. It can
also be utilized to seek grant funding.
- The town board is moving towards enforcing derelict buildings provisions in general,
and specifically in regards the house next to Town Hall. The town is also looking into
acquiring that parcel, with or without the house on it.
- The town is once again considering the previously proposed noise law. The draft is on
the town website and is available for folks to review.
- The town is continuing to engage with South Hill Cidery and its neighbors with the
hope of coming to an agreement regarding concerns about noise and the scope of the
operations.
