ON TUESDAY August 12 , 2025 In person at town hall or VIA video conference (Zoom). For more information, please check the Calendar on the Town website < https://danby.ny.gov/event/ CALL TO ORDER ZOOM SETUP: RECORD MEETING AGENDA REVIEW: ADDITIONS OR DELETIONS* PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR** (max. 3min. per speaker) APPROVAL OF MINUTES: June 2025 and July 2025 1. Status of current Easements ; when are you monitoring your easement in 2025? Have monitoring reports for previous years been found and put in easement folder? 2. Status of retrieval and organization of past Easement monitoring documents , getting signed easements and all other documentation into new folder structure, request for parcel parents to check info and fill in missing info on easement tracking 3. Firm date a nd publicity for presentation on Lindsey Parsons bird banding station. Can we do this if Greg is not present? 4. Updates on on-going easements a)Sherman - JZ progress on materials that Brittany has prepared. b)Olshefsky- Corbit in touch with landowner. Baseline report ? Is in files. look at cabin language in Melchen easement for area to set aside for cabin. 5. Altman easement incorporation of landowner comments, JZ. CAC review , (then to GK, then to TB, then sign and file). 6. Gladstone easement , GK has commented, has been approved by TB in July. has been filed. Who will be parent? 8.Timber Harvesting Law , clean copy in our files, DS will consult with Highway, next steps? 9. recruiting easement monitors . Do we want to advertise in DAN or word of mouth? 10. Easement outreach; contiguous with current protected lands , plus greater than 2 0 acres = 50 properties, all of above plus contiguous with UNA = 25 properties. What criteria do we want to use. Do we want to send letter, use personal contact, or both. Do we have landowner list? 11. Items for next month’s agenda 1. Member announcements EXECUTIVE SESSION AS NEEDED, ADJOURNMENT *All agenda items are for consideration and are not final until voted on by the CAC. **Privilege of the Floor is the time to address the CAC, and is a privilege – not a right – and while we realize that residents are sometimes passionate about an issue, we insist that the tone and content of your remarks be civil and respectful. If these g uidelines are not adhered to, you will be asked to sit down and remain silent. Once the meeting moves past Privilege of the Floor, we are still interested in what you have to say, but please be aware that your comments or questions during this part of the meeting can be entertained only if time permits.
