PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PRELIMINARY BUDGET
The public hearing on the preliminary budget was held at the
Town Hall on November 5 , 1970 .
Board Members Present : Supervisor Donald C . Makie
Councilman Ralph Wilbur
Councilman Gerald Crance
Absent : Town Justice A . Fran& pis Wright
Town Justice Floyd Dorn
Also Present : Gould Colman
Supervisor Makie reviewed the preliminary Budget .
Mr . Gould Colman questioned the salary of the Town Historian
at $ 100 . 00 and the Constable at $ 50 . 00 . He felt that the constable
should receive more than the historian .
There were no othe" comments . Supervisor Makie closed the
public hearing at 9 : 10gmn ,
The Board did not make any changes in the preliminary budget .
Councilman Wilbur moved to adopt the preliminary budget as the
Annual Budget for 1971 . Seconded by Councilman Crance . 3 ayes ,
0 noes , 2 absent . Roll Call Vote : Wilbur - aye
Cranee - aye
Makie - aye
Adjourned at 9 : 15 P . M .
