Meeting called to order at 5:04 pm by Ben Coakley
Attending: Ben Coakley, Marrell Cortright, Marie Monroe, Skip Fairchild, Peter McDonald, Scott
Wendt, Shawn Wendt, Marge Seamon, Joel Gagnon
Guests: Shane and Julie Spencer
Shane and Julie attended to ask questions on the new rate structure and their current bill. All
their questions were answered.
Vouchers -
Yaws - $50 - monthly water test
Office Supplies - new Printer - $394.98
Ben made the motion to pay the bills, Marrell seconded the motion, all were in favor.
January's meeting minutes were read for additions and corrections.
A motion was made by Marie to approve all the minutes, seconded by Skip, all Board members
approved.
Operator Report -
Scott - Everything is running smoothly this month. He does need to order more chlorine and he
will be ordering another chlorinator to have on hand as a spare. Scott gave the list of the
mandatory testing that will have to happen this year. We will need to put in writing that we do not
have any lead pipes in our system.
Fire hydrant replacement - it was discussed the possibility of upwards of $7,500 cost of just one
hydrant and we have three that will need replaced. They leak when used and they are original to
the system. We might want to look at adding a couple more and or a new loop in the line on
Short rd.
Old Business -
Billing Clerk - the clerk is still Marge though Marrell has been shadowing, learning and
performing the job as she learns it over the last year and a half.
Joel gave a report on how he thinks we should be set up organizationally in his opinion and how
he is trying to understand how we work together. Peter offered to work up a document to help
clarify things.
Skip made the motion to adjourn, Peter seconded this and all were in favor.
Meeting adjourned at 6:45pm
