Operator Report - Pump numbers are good this month with our average daily volume being 11,900gal. We recently upped our chlorine s oluon added. We a re now adjus ng the tank ag itator. The recent s ulfur s mell was becaus e the a g itator breaker had tripped off in the recent power outages on/off from the power generator. Skip made a moon to g et an electrician to go up and check this breaker to s ee if he can tell what is making it trip occas ionally. Peter s econded this and all are in favor. According to our contact at Badger we need to plan to replace the handheld reader. It is outdated and at s ome point, it will s top working. Als o, our trans mier antenna e baeries are going to s tart to fail. Since they are s elf-contained the whole trans mier its elf will at s ome point ceas e to work. Sco will inves gate how much thes e a ntennae cost. C urb box wrench – us ed to s hut off/turn on the curb boxes . Ours is too rounded to work anymore, he is ordering a new one. This is a mus t have tool, new run costs about $100. The deadline for our lead pipe inventory that is due to the health dept is O ctober 16. Old Bus ines s - We need to get 2 quotes for running the electricity to and in the office building. It was dis cus s ed the pos s ibility of buried cable from the pump hous e to the office and into a panel. Fire Hydrant replacement - W2O is the only one s o far that Sco has found that is able to do this work. Electric bills – s ll not able to obtain. New Bus ines s - From Steve on Code update- the new building code for next year has the pos s ibility of having a building requirement that all new construcon mus t have a s prinkler sys tem ins talled. This would /might affect volume of water or water pres s ure demands to our water sys tem. Next meeng s hould be O ctober 2 but there is a conflict for s ome.
