Yaws - monthly water testing - $55.00
NY Rural Water Association annual membership = $266.00
Amrex - $332.00
Zappala Electric – change out the breaker - $350.00
Privilege of the floor -
None
Operator Report – We have discovered in completing the Lead pipe survey for the
health department that we have 133 connections.
We will try and meet next Wednesday to do budget and pay bills.

Budget /monthly meeting
Meeting called to order at 5:05 pm by Ben Coakley
Attending: Ben Coakley, Marrell Cortright, Shawn Wendt, Scott Wendt, Skip Fairchild,
Town Code Officer - Steve Cortright, Pat Woodworth, Joel Gagnon
Vouchers -
Yaws - monthly water testing - $55.00
Amrex - $332.00
NY Rural Water Association membership - $266.00
Zappala Electric – change out breaker - $350.00
Privilege of the floor -
None
Budget – every section was looked over and discussed. Adjustments made with the
whole boards input. Discussed using some of our money in the checking to invest in
CD’s to make interest to fill in some of the projected possible shortfalls for 2025. The
tank cleaning needs to be budgeted for every 5 years. The last one was in 2023.
Skip makes the motion to send the proposed budget dated 10/16/24 to the town board
for acceptance. Marie seconded this motion and all are in favor.
Operator Report -
Quotes for electric to the new office – Zappala can’t fit us in at this time. Ted Hurd
gave a quote of $3,950.00. The operators are attempting to get one more quote to
submit.
Hydrant replacement – only one bid submitted as of this date and that is from DPH
Transportation and Excavation LLC. Dan Grover – owner/operator, local company from
Spencer. Quote - $63,312.00
The lead pipe survey was submitted last week and a copy was sent to town hall. We
found out in doing this survey that we have 133 total available connections.
Marrell stated that we have 116 active connections.
Skip made the motion to adjourn the meeting, Marie seconded the motion, all in favor.
Next meeting is Wednesday, November 6th at 5pm at the fire station.
