Pleasant Valley Electric is coming out to give us a quote to run electric to the office building. Scott will call LaMort electric tomorrow to ask them to come and quote the job as well. Ben made a motion to submit electric quotes that we have obtained by November 18 to the town board for their meeting on November 18. Peter seconded this and all are in favor. Steve went over the list that he has made of all the electric supplies that will be needed to start the office. The members of the water board are comfortable with the list and the amount it might end up costing. Ben made a motion to go ahead and spend what it will take to complete the job, Peter seconded this. All are in favor of this and then Water Operator is on board with decision as well. One of the times that Shawn was at the pump house, the wind took the door as he opened it. The bottom of the door broke off and now needs replaced. Scott will look at it closer Sunday to see if it is fixable or needs to be replaced. Scott and Shawn took their Confined Space training on November 1st. Old Business - Fire Hydrants - Ben has had some discussions with the town of Ithaca Public Works. They are willing to do the work of replacing the hydrants, but they aren't able to give us an exact quote for the work since they don't know how many hours the job will take. The approximate price of one hydrant is about $9,800. They are requesting to be able to dig one hydrant up to see it and the connections before they order parts and hydrant. It was decided by the Water Board that the hydrant on Valley View in front of the Cemetery would be the easiest. There would have to be a shared services agreement drawn up between the two towns for this to happen. New Business - none Peter made the motion to adjourn, Marie seconded this and all were in favor. Our next meeting will be December 4th. Res pecully Submied, Marrell C ortright Secretary/Billing Clerk
