HomeMy WebLinkAbout2007_05_07 TB Agenda Meeting MinutesTOWN OF DANBY AGENDA MEETING MINUTES MAY 7, 2007 PRESENT: Supervisor Dietrich Council Members: Eugene Beavers, Gladys Varona-Lacey ABSENT: Councilperson Nolte (excused) Councilperson Salino (excused) Others Present Todd Miller - Hydrologist Carol Sczepanski - Town Clerk Susan Beeners - Code Enforcement Officer Ted Jones - Bookkeeper Roy Casterline - West Danby Water District Superintendent Andrew Thurnheer - Highway Superintendent Members of the Public: Pat Caveney, Judy Caveney John Rosenbaum Todd Miller gave a power point presentation of what an aquifer study will provide to the Town using USGS mapping. Plans for drilling in Danby for the aquifer study may begin as early as September or October of 2007. The plan is to do the study in the Upper Buttermilk Creek/Danby Creek Valley. After the drilling results are completed there should be a meeting with Kate Hackett and Sue Beeners, and a follow up meeting with the Town Supervisor and Sue Beeners. The Town Board reviewed the information received on their Agenda and placed the following items on the Agenda: 1 Consideration of Proposed Subdivision Local Law - Resolution 2 Mowing Proposal Proposition - Resolution Highway Superintendent, Andrew Thurnheer gave an update on his research for a new Town Highway truck for possible purchase. A staff meeting with the Supervisor has been scheduled for 1:00 Tuesday, May 8, 2007 Carol W. Appointments of Alternates for the Planning Board. 2. Acceptance of mowing proposal - Forest City Landscaping.
