TOWN BOARD BUDGET WORKSHOP MINUTES
OCTOBER 8, 2007

The Budget Workshop was called to order at 6:10 p.m.
The Tentative Budget was reviewed with the Town Board for the Library.
Patty Meyers described the changes and recommendations of the Library and of the services
provided by the Tompkins County Library System. They desire to have their budget reflect
changes in their funding to represent the operation of the Danby Library be by volunteers to
eliminate the expense of funding for the Tompkins County Library System and their employee
benefits.
Mr. Proto urged the Town to support the Tompkins County Library System and is going to seek
an additional $1,000 from Tompkins County for the operation of the rural libraries.
The Town Clerk presented a 2007 report and budget request from the Danby Pond Director for
2008. The only change from 2007 was an increase of $100 in contractural.
The Town Clerk's and Town Court's budgets were not reviewed.
