ON PROPOSED CONTRACT WITH
BROOKTONDALE FIRE DISTRICT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a contract with Brooktondale Fire District to
provide fire, rescue and emergency medical services to the Town of Danby for properties
located on and near Coddington Road in said town, including Autumn Ridge Lane, Amy
Lane, German Cross Road, Banks Road, easterly portion of East Miller Road, Gilbert
Road, Olsefski Road, and easterly portion of Deputron Hollow Road, for a period of four
(4) years for the sum of $16,000.00 per year for years 2025 through 2028 will be
presented to the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Danby Fire District for its
consideration.
A PUBLIC HEARING will be held at the Danby Fire District Fire Station, 1780
Danby Road, Ithaca, New York on the 15th day of October 2024 at 6:45 p.m.
Pursuant to Town Law 176 (22), the Board of Fire Commissioners shall hold a
public hearing prior to entering into a contract for fire protection.
A copy of the proposed contract is available at the Office of Fire District Secretary
at the Danby Fire District Fire Station, 1780 Danby Road, Ithaca, New York where it
may be inspected by any interested person by calling (607) 319-4721 for an appointment.
