The Town of Danby recently received funds from New York State for a
housing rehabilitation program. The funds from this grant will be used for the
rehabilitation of substandard, single-family, owner -occupied properties located within
the boundaries of the Town.
Occupants must be low -to -moderate in income, as per the table below, and the
property must be in need of repairs. Other requirements apply.

The type of rehabilitation work that can be performed under this Program
includes, but is not limited to, electric, plumbing, heating, roofing, insulation, masonry,
windows, doors, painting, interior and exterior carpentry.
