Re : Requirements related to Stormwater Management and Erosion Control
Please note that the following items related to stormwater management and erosion control
should be provided to our office prior to the issuance of any Building Permits for new res idences
in the South Pointe Subdivision :
1. The Stormwater Management Ponds and related easements have not been conveyed to
the Town, but may be in the near future . The Town Board may at any time , at its option,
establ ish a Special District for the purpose of assessing the cost of maintenance and repair o f
the Stormwater Management Areas and related drainage impro v emen t s to all owners o f rea l
property within the subdivision. Prior to the sale of a lot , the Developer will notify the
prospective buyer concerning the potential for a Special District and the obligation which
will accrue to the property owners in the district, thereafter the Developer will provide proof
of each such notice to the Town's Code Enforcement Officer prior to the issuance of a
building permit.
2 . A Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan is required for each lot , pursuant to DEC
regulations . The Contractor must sign and certify this plan . Copies of the plan are availabl e
from our office .
