PRELIMINARY
August 22, 2023, Commissioner Budget Workshop
Commissioner Westmiller called the workshop to order at 8:30 p.m. at the Danby Fire Station.

Commissioner Freedman reviewed the tax cap and that the proposed budget is under the tax cap.
Discussion regarding the 2024 proposed budget, including the following:
A3410.4 Account
Sub Accounts:
• 300.1 currently $1,800.00 increase to $2,800.00
• 300.8 currently $8,500.00 decrease to $6,700.00
• 300.14 currently $500.00 increased to $1700.00
• 300.15 currently $500.00 increased to $1100.00
302 Firefighting Expenses
Sub Accounts:
• 302.1 currently $4,000.00 increase to $8,200.00
• 302.2 currently $3,000.00 increase to $8,200.00
303 Danby Buildings & Grounds
Sub Accounts:
• 303.3 currently $1,000.00 increase to $1,300.00
• 303.7 currently $3,000.00 increase to $6,000.00
304 W Danby Building & Grounds
• 304.2 currently $700.00 increase to $800.00
• 304.3 currently $1,000.00 increase to $1,300.00
• 304.7 currently $2,000.00 increase to $2,500.00
309 Insurance
Sub Accounts:
• Currently $25,000.00 increase to $25,100.00
A3410.4 Contractual
• Currently $189,500.00 increase to $203,100.00
All amounts are preliminary and subject to change before adoption of preliminary budget.
