He suggested that due to security concerns third -party cookies are often disabled and hopes that we will report this to Zoho with the strongest disapproval and a request to disable them. Town of Danby, New York 3 Jan 2o23 Town Board Minutes 4.2. Ronda Roaring Roaring echoed what Ted said and added that she feels violated. She noted that we shouldn't be being tracked at all on the town website and isn't sure that it's legal. She then noted that she wanted to talk about the structure that has gone up on South Danby Road that wasn't addressed when she mentioned it back in November. Number two was the Standard Work Day Resolution and reporting in which she visited the state Comptroller's website and found pages and pages of directions for how to complete the forms and she hasn't seen any of it being presented; she noted that it needs to be displayed on the town website for30 days, along with having a record of activities calculation over a3-month period. She was concerned that either Janice or the Board, or both, are not following instructions and stated that everyone needs to follow the instructions on the OSC website. S. Correspondence 5.1. The old truck that is used for plowing developments is beginning to deteriorate and the electrical functions are beginning to fail and need replacement. WHEREAS: the Highway Department has gathered three quotes for pickups that would meet the needs of the town. WHEREAS: the dealers are still honoring the old manufacturers price until January 13th. After that date the OGS price will increase and orders will not be able to be made until November of 2023. RESOLVED: the Town Board gives the Highway Superintendent permission to place an order for a new pickup truck that will meet the needs of the town's plowing obligations. The price shall not exceed $6o,000. The funds for this purchase will come from the Fund Balance of the Highway Fund. Resolution 005 of 2023: Support for Replacement of the Bridge on Town Line Road over Lick Brook Stream Moved By: Gagnon Seconded By: Connors WHEREAS the bridge located in the Town of Ithaca at the North end of Town Line Road over Lick Brook Stream has become a major public safety concern to the Town of Danby Highway Department and our employees, and WHEREAS the Highway Superintendent of the Town of Danby has personally inspected the bridge and the reports and documents received from the Town of Ithaca regarding it, and WHEREAS the bridge is not located within our town's jurisdiction, but is a major connector to the central and west districts of the town. Upon the inspection, the Highway Superintendent agrees that the core infrastructure is failing rapidly and is in need of replacement, now therefor be it resolved RESOLVED that the Town of Danby supports the efforts to replace this bridge as soon as possible. Rules of Order adopted by the Town Board as Resolution 61 of 202o and subsequently amended by Resolution 46 of 2021 will be followed at all Town Board Meetings. 10.1.2. The orderly conduct of all meetings is imperative. Accordingly, there can be only one speaker at a time and whoever is chairing a meeting should insist on controlling the order of speakers to ensure that. The following statement of policy will be added to the posted agenda for all Town Board meetings: The public has a right to attend and observe all public meetings. This right does not include the right to comment, except at public hearings. It is, however, the policy of the Town Board to allow for participation by the public at all Town Board meetings, primarily during time set aside for it, called privilege of the floor. Resolution 046 of 2023 to Authorize the Labor Contract Execution Moved By: Gagnon Seconded By: Connors Vote: Whereas the contractual agreement between the Civil Service Employees Association and the Town of Danby covering the years 2019-2021 and then extended to cover 2022 has expired, and Whereas both parties to that agreement have negotiated in good faith to develop a contract to apply for the next 4 years and have reached a tentative agreement, and Whereas said tentative agreement is subject to ratification by both parties, now therefore be it Resolved that the Town Board of the Town Of Danby authorizes the Town Supervisor and Council member Pat Woodworth, who negotiated the agreement, to sign and execute the contract on behalf of the Town, subject to concurrence and counter -signing by the Union Committee members.
