6.3. Town Planner
6.3.1. Grant Writing RFP deadline is tomorrow to choose a grant writer to work
with this year; to date West received two applications.
6.3.2. Last step to get Homeowner Rehab program rolling is for Supervisor
Gagnon to sign the contract which he will do tonight. Flyers are available
with program details in the foyer and at Town Clerk's window.
6.3.3. West started conversations with the Danby Community Parks Association
about the County's parks & trails grant that opened yesterday. There is a
small amount of money that can be used to make small improvements
every year. When West has an idea of the scope of collaborative work with
the DCPA and the Town, he will bring a resolution to the Town Board.
6.3.4. March 2023 Planning Board and BZA Meetings
6.3.4.1. 229 East Miller, 82 acre parcel requesting a three lot subdivision
which requires a variance for one of the lots along with the
existing house to be smaller than the io acres required by the
zoning ordinance. This variance was granted under conditions
that they not get any more lots total than they would without the
variance.
6.3.4.2.io5 Beardsley Lane approached the last step wherein the tourists
home site plan review was granted by the Planning Board; this
came before the BZA hearing on my interpretation on that use,
which the BZA upheld.
6.3.4.3.38 Valley View Road subdivision in the West Danby Hamlet
documents were signed.
6.3.5.229 East Miller will be back before the Planning Board later this month.
