3.1.Garry Huddle, Town Justice & Resident. Asked about the public hearing that had
been scheduled for tonight; and suggested to not do the clerk appointment
proposal.
3.2.Ronda Roaring, resident.
3.3.Ted Crane, resident. Stated that he was already aware of movement from the
public hearing; was disappointed by the policital nature of the attempt to
abolish the town clerk elected position; spoke to public relations: the personal
one, in this month’s issue of Danby Town Board news there is a sentence in
David West’s item that distorts what Ted said. The town needs to be held to a
higher standard than that. On the point of being held to higher standards, he
noted that Joel misstated on Facebook about what happens when a candidate
withdraws from a race.
3.4.Mauricio Medina, resident. Stated that after attending a previous meeting
around the issue of the town clerk not being elected position, he doesn’t

understand the reason for pushing toward switching to an appointed position;
seems like there’s a hostile environment, finds it disturbing that this can’t be
addressed.

6.3.2.This month there are 3 applications
– 2288 Danby Road, Solar Farm Proposal, sketch plan review
– Nelson Rd cluster subdivision
– 520 West King Road, home occupation and ADU
6.3.3.Working with grant writer toward CDBG multi-family properties rented by
low-income residents. Grant due in early August which he will finish and
submit before departing.
6.3.4.Norbut Solar is planning to start their work soon with clearing and
prepping of the site.
6.3.5.Paperwork for Drainage District #1 has been filed and is complete.

9.1.Finalize Planner Search
9.1.1.Supervisor Joel Gagnon, Bookkeeper Laura Shawley, Current Planner
David West, and Board Member Leslie Connors will finalize the search.
9.2.Wish List Next Steps
9.2.1.Woodworth stated that the Board should consider whether or not to
buy the solar arrays; she, Hansen, and Laura Shawley will meet to
discuss further.
9.2.2.Connors noted that the Drainage District creation could be marked off.
9.2.3.Discussion on internet broadband
9.2.4.Discussion on codification for laws
9.2.5.Address updates and changes
9.2.6.Community Center
9.3.Progress Update on Noise and Short-Term Rentals
9.3.1.Hunter spoke to the noise group making progress that is acceptable
and welcomed by all participants in the group representing multiple
views.
9.3.2.Connors asked David West to provide updates on the Short-Term
Rentals; a draft is in progress.
9.4.Tweak Proposed Process for Appointing a Town Clerk - Pat Woodworth
9.4.1.The suggested tweak/modification was to have 7 members instead of 5
on the appointment committee.
