Business 9.1.Resolution 175 of 2022 To Show Appreciation to Amy Cusimano Moved By: Woodworth Seconded By: Connors The Town of Danby acknowledges and honors the many, many years that Amy Cuisimano spent managing Jennings Pond. Her service was a huge benefit to the many residents who have utilized Jennings Pond for swimming, neighborhood gatherings, picnics, parties, etc. She was instrumental in helping make Jennings Pond State Park a safe, clean, and fun environment for the community for several years. The town will miss her service and her presence. As an initial critical planning step, the Town of Danby endorses the application to the Tompkins County Tourism Capital Grant Program for funding to support a Preliminary Design and Construction Cost Estimate Project for the section from Burns to Banks Roads and agrees to contribute equally to a 5% cost-share as one of the four municipal partners, up to $1,000. We recognize the tremendous positive aspects of this project, including fostering wellness, pedestrian and bicyclist safety, tourism, sustainability, and community connections. We look forward to working with you, NYSEG, and our other municipal partners as we build this wonderful community asset.
