Code Enforcement Officer , Susan Beeners reported that she met with seven ( 7 ) neighbors who requested information to familiarize them 2 Planning Board Minutes Public Hearing - 03 April 20 , 1994 with this proposal . Concerns were voiced regarding traffic safety at the intersection , seasonal streams and drainage , accumulative impacts of septic systems and the overall character of the neighborhood . She and the Highway Superintendent measured the distance from the intersection to the proposed road and it does not meet the Subdivision Regulation requirement that there be a 600 ' distance between intersections where there are major thoroughfares and 300 ' between minor thoroughfares . The Highway Superintendent has concerns about the cost of maintenance on a road in that area . Susan recommended that the Health Department review this plan before this Board makes any decision on the proposal .
