Councilperson Marisa ( Excused ) O thers Present : Town Clerk : Carol Sczepanski Members of the Public : Rosa Lee Johnson Supervisor Dietrich called the Town of Danby Town Board Agenda Meeting to order at 7 : 30 P . M . The Town Board discussed the amount tax collected for the Town of D anby NYS Forest Lands and how the County applies the tax to its tax roll . The Town is researching how to receive these tax dollars and how to apply them as a credit to the Town tax collected . Supervisor Dietrich said that the Town of Caroline receives a higher tax rate per acre on NYS Forest Lands than the Town of Danby . Supervisor Dietrich said that he has scheduled a meeting with Highway Superintendent Pete Coddington on Thursday , November 7 , 1991 at 5 : 30 P . M . The meeting is to discuss items in the Highway Budget Proposal for 1992 to look for possible cuts . Any Board member is welcome to attend . RESOLUTIONS - ADOPTED FOR PUBLICATION : RESOLUTION NO . 61 OF 1991 - ADOPTED CALL FOR PUBLIC HEARING - ESTABLISHING FEES APPLICABLE TO ZONING SUBDIVISION REVIEW , AND RELATED MATTERS IN THE TOWN OF DANBY By Councilperson Schwartz : Seconded by Supervisor Dietrich RESOLVED , that the Town of Danby Town Board hold a Public Hearing on the 21st day of November , 1991 , Town Hall , 1830 Danby Road , Ithaca , New York at 7 : 00 P . M . concerning a proposed local law entitled " A LOCAL LAW PROVIDING FOR ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW OF ACTIONS IN THE TOWN OF DANBY " which provides for the implementation of the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act in the Town of Danby . At such time and place all persons interested in the subject matter thereof will be heard concerning the same . Copies of the proposed local law are available in the Town Clerk ' s Office in the Town of Danby for examination by any interested party . M . to consider a resolution establishing fees related to subdivision review , site plan review , and modifying prior resolutions relating to fees for building permit applications and building code matters . M . , Danby Town Hall , 1830 D anby Road , Ithaca , New York to consider the adoption of an amended and revised Zoning Ordinance for the Town of Danby . The revised o rdinance amends numerous provisions of the current Town of Danby Z.onin .g . ,Ordinance , permits the creation of a number of new zones , . . . - i ' i • 3 Agenda Meeting November 6 , 1991 changes , requirements and uses relating to various zoning d istricts , removes certain provisions relating to environmental review and flood plain regulation , alters the configuration of the zoning map for the Town , and in general up - dates the regulations of the Town of Danby relating to zoning and the accompanying zoning map . Several ideas were proposed as to where the proceeds could be used most effectively . The Board discussed leaving the Proposed Fiscal Year 1992 Budget as it is as cuts can be made later . D ecision to leave Town Clerk ' s , Elections , Dog Control Officer and Zoning Contractual as proposed . J ennings Pond - approved at $ 4 , 500 Summer Recreation - not the Town Boards decision . H ighway - no changes until Supervisor Dietrich meets with Highway Superintendent to review highway section . Councilperson Eckstrom will prepare a clean copy for the Town Clerk to copy for the Public Hearing to be held on November 11 , 1991 at 7 : 00 P . M .
