ADDENDUM NO. 1 October 30, 2018 This Addendum contains changes to the requirements of the Contract Documents and Specifications. Such changes are to be incorporated into the Construction Documents and shall apply to the work with the same meaning and force as if they had been included in the original document. Wherever this Addendum modifies a portion of a paragraph of the specifications or a portion of any Drawing, the remainder of the Paragraph or Drawing shall remain in force. NOTE: Provisions of all Contract Documents apply.
DRAWINGS Item 1. Drawing C-101, General Notes
DELETE Note 1.0 in its entirety. REPLACE with 1.0. Swing gates shall be equipped with locking mechanism. All locks and chain for swing gates provided by Cornell. Item 2. Drawing C-102, Detail 1 – Outer Areas Protection Plan REVISE callout note, “4’ Wide Swing Gate with Lock” REPLACE with “4’ Wide Swing Gate”

3. Project Overview a. Project Description – Scope of Work i. Install security fence around central energy plant assets a. No alternates / Brief description of scope
b. Building Permit i. The successful bidder will be required to obtain all necessary building permits. 4. Communication / Correspondence
a. All RFI’s will be submitted electronically to the attention of Alex & Jim at the email addresses referenced above. b. All RFI’s must be submitted before noon on Monday, 10/29/18; a final addendum will be issued on 10/31/18 to all bidders of record
5. Access to Site / General Conditions
a. The Central Energy Plant will be occupied throughout the construction period; access for interior work to be coordinated through Cornell Construction Manager. b. Field Office –If required, Cornell CM will find an office space for the contractor c. Contractor parking – Offsite parking will be at Palm Road and at the contractor’s
expense. All on onsite supervisory vehicles will need to obtain necessary permits; contact
Bartt Smith for rules & regulations & permits. d. Staging – Staging area is likely to be limited, however space in the lower CEP area can be coordinated.
6. Project Schedule
a. Construction approximate Start - December 15th, 2018 b. Completion of Enabling Work is January 20th, 2019
