It is difficult to quantify what is needed for this. Additionally, if an allowance is issued, will this cover the fire rated soffit detail above? The soffit can be quantified, just want to know where the allowance would start and stop. Please refer to drawing detail 2/G-002, and the referenced photos, for the scope of work required. An allowance will not be utilized. 2 A-101 I do not find wall type U-10 used anywhere, can you direct me to what room this is used in?Refer to drawing detail 2/A-101. A location is indicated near column F15. 3 I do not find wall type A3 used, please advise which room this is used in. A3 matches construction of the north wall of room E138. A new opening and header is required in the existing wall. 4 The note about the temp partition describes a fiber lite liner panel adhered to plywood in the ceiling. Can we get a picture or detail showing what this is referring to? The intent is to construct a temporary partition without removing or damaging the existing ceiling. There are two types of ceiling tiles. The majority of the room consists of acoustical ceiling tiles, but some of the tiles are the described fiber-lite panel with plywood backing (generally occuring where utilities are located at the ceiling.) If the ceiling is damaged, the contractor is responsible for restoring the ceiling to its existing condition. Generally, the acoustical tiles should be replaced but it is likely that patching of the other will be necessary.
