Such changes are to be incorporated into the Construction Documents and shall apply to the work with the same meaning and force as if they had been included in the original document. Wherever this Addendum modifies a portion of a paragraph of the specifications or a portion of any Drawing, the remainder of the Paragraph or Drawing shall remain in force. NOTE: Provisions of all Contract Documents apply. Item 1. Drawing A-502 DELETE in its entirety. REPLACE with revised A-502, attached. Item 2. Section/ Design Team Index Number Paragraph/Topic RFI Response 1 Instruction to Bidders Item 12 We are planning to submit a bid for the Carl Becker House – South Wing Elevator Replacement project at Cornell University but were unable to attend the pre-bid conference that was held on Monday. I also have an Elevator Subcontractor that would like to do a walkthru of the project. We will both be at Cornell Friday @10am for a walk-thru on another elevator project (Willard Straight Hall). Can another walk-thru be scheduled for the Carl Becker House project Friday? See Addendum No. 1, Item 1. 2 Section 01 35 29 Hazardous Material Report Will the brake shoes require abatement and if so will this be handled by the Design Document environmental contact with our elevator labor scope allowing labor to coordinate with them? Refer to the Pre-Renovation Asbestos Inspection/Survey Report enclosed in Section 01 35 29 of the Project Manual for brake shoe analysis. Abatement of the brake shoes, if deemed necessary during construction, will be handled under separate Contract by Cornell through their Hazardous Material “blanket” Contract. Preparation of the brake shoes for any abatement will be by the Carl Becker House - South Wing Elevator Replacement Contractor. 3 A-502 Elevator Finish Schedule See Carl Becker South Elevator spec section 142100, 2.11, B. Spec calls for flooring to be Altro Reliance 25 See drawing A-502, Elevator Finish Schedule Finish Schedule calls for flooring to be Steel Studded Rubber – Aronsons Refer to Addendum No. 2 for flooring clarification.
