SEE RISER DIAGRAM ON DRAWING F-600. 2-HOUR CIRCUIT INTEGRITY CABLING FIRE ALARM WIRING SHALL BE INSTALLED WITHIN EMT CONDUIT. POWER PANEL ELP-P SHALL BE UTILIZED FOR POWER FOR FIRE PROTECTION DEVICES, I.E. FIRE ALARM CONTROL PANEL, AIR COMPRESSOR, MONITORING EQUIPMENT (WATERFLOW SWITCH, SUPERVISORY SWITCH, TAMPER SWITCH), SOLENOID VALVE. LOCATION OF VERTICAL CONDUIT RUNS SHALL BE COORDINATED WITH BUILDING PERSONNEL. IF A COMMON VERTICAL CONDUIT LOCATION IS FOUND, IT SHALL BE UTILIZED. HYDROGEN GAS DETECTORS SHALL BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND SHALL BE PROGRAMMED TO A SENSITIVITY OF 12.5% OF THE LOWER FLAMMABILITY LIMIT OF HYDROGEN GAS. MANUFACTURER REPRESENTATIVE SHALL FIELD VERIFY THAT HYDROGEN DETECTOR SPACING WILL BE EFFECTIVE. MAIN DRAIN AND INSPECTOR'S TEST DISCHARGE SHALL BE COORDINATED WITH EXISTING DRAIN RISER. CAPACITY OF EXISTING DRAIN TO BE UTILIZED SHALL BE CONFIRMED. PROVIDE ADDRESSABLE INPUT MODULE ABOVE OR ADJACENT TO CELLWATCH CONTROL UNIT. INPUT MODULE SHALL SUPERVISE CU RELAY OUTPUT #5 (WARNING). PROVIDE FLUSHING FULL-PORT BALL VALVE ON EACH BRANCH LINE MATCHING THE SIZE OF THE BRANCH LINE PIPING. PROVIDE THREE 2-1/2" FLUSHING FULL PORT BALL VALVES ON THE END OF THE 6-INCH SUPPLY MAIN. PREACTION VALVE DRAIN PIPING SHALL BE ROUTED DOWN TO THE FLOOR BELOW THEN TO THE EXISTING DRAIN RISER. PROVIDE A COMPLETE AUTOMATIC FIRE ALARM SYSTEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE 2020 BUILDING CODE OF NEW YORK STATE AND NFPA 72 (2016) FOR THE ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM ROOM. PROVIDE A COMPLETE AUTOMATIC PREACTION SPRINKLER SYSTEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE 2020 BUILDING CODE OF NEW YORK STATE AND NFPA 13 (2016) FOR THE ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM ROOM. PIPING AS SHOWN IS DIAGRAMMATIC, NOT ALL PIPING/FITTINGS ARE INDICATED. CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR FINAL SPRINKLER SYSTEM PIPE SIZING/LAYOUT, SPRINKLER HYDRAULIC CALCULATIONS, AND COORDINATION WITH LIGHT FIXTURES/FIRE ALARM DEVICES, DUCTWORK AND DIFFUSERS. FINAL PIPE SIZING SHALL BE DETERMINED BY CONTRACTOR HYDRAULIC CALCULATIONS SUBJECT TO APPROVAL BY ENGINEER. MAXIMUM SPRINKLER COVERAGE AREA SHALL BE 120 SQ.FT. SPRINKLER DESIGN CRITERIA IS AS FOLLOWS: 0.30GPM/SQ.FT. OVER THE ENTIRETY OF THE ESS ROOM, 100 GPM HOSE STREAM DEMAND AT TOP OF STANDPIPE & 400 GPM AT WATER SUPPLY SOURCE. INSTALL ALL CONDUIT EXPOSED IN AREAS WITH NO FINISHED CEILINGS UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. INSTALL ALL WIRING AND CONDUIT WITH THE REQUIRED SUPPORT/HANGERS. INSTALL ALL SUPPORTS FROM THE BUILDING STRUCTURE. INSTALL ALL INITIATING DEVICES IN A MANNER THAT PROVIDES ACCESSIBILITY FOR PERIODIC INSPECTION, TESTING AND MAINTENANCE. FIRE STOP ALL PENETRATIONS THROUGH RATED WALLS, FLOORS AND CEILINGS. ALL PIPE SIZES SHALL BE SCHEDULE 40 BLACK STEEL WITH THREADED FITTINGS. SPRINKLERS SHALL BE LOCATED A MINIMUM OF 24 INCHES FROM THE SIDE OF HVAC DIFFUSERS. ALL SPRINKLER PIPING SHALL BE PITCHED BACK TO THE PREACTION VALVE TO ALLOW FOR PROPER DRAINAGE AND TO ELIMINATE THE POSSIBILITY OF TRAPPED WATER. SPRINKLER SUPPLY MAIN AND BRANCH PIPING SHALL BE ROUTED DIRECTLY BELOW THE STRUCTURAL I-BEAMS WITH VERTICAL PIPING UP TO THE DECK FOR EACH UPRIGHT SPRINKLER.
