Such changes are to be incorporated into the Construction Documents and shall apply to the work with the same meaning and force as if they had been included in the original document. Wherever this Addendum modifies a portion of a paragraph of the specifications or a portion of any Drawing, the remainder of the Paragraph or Drawing shall remain in force. NOTE: Provisions of all Contract Documents apply. Item 1. Instruction to Bidders, INS-5, Item 14.c. DELETE “…Bid Portal no later than 2:00PM on July 16, 2020.” REPLACE with “…Bid Portal no later than 2:00PM on July 21, 2020.” Item 2. Drawing A-102 – KEYED RENOVATION NOTES ADD the following sentence to end of Architectural Keyed Renovation Note #4: FIRE PROTECTION SUBCONTRACTOR TO DRAIN SPRINKLER SYSTEM AND REMOVE EXISTING SPRINKLER HEADS AND ESCUTCHEONS TO ALLOW FOR THE REMOVAL OF THE HARD CEILINGS. INSTALL NEW SPRINKLER HEADS AFTER HARD CEILING IS REPLACED. COORDINATE SPRINKLER SYSTEM SHUTDOWN WITH CORNELL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CORNELL PROJECT MANAGER. Item 3. advise if certain percentages are required on this project.
2.1% and 2% are shown on the M/WBE utilization form
contained within the front end specifications
MWBE requirements are identified in the Bid
Proposal Certification Form, Page BF-1, Item 2.a.
2 Instruction to Bidders
A walk-through is indicated to take place the same day as the
pre-bid meeting. Is this walk through being conducted in
person with the contractors present or are we doing a "virtual
walk-through" and contractors are to watch walk through via
zoom, webex, etc.
See Instruction to Bidders, INS-3, Item 4.a.
Walkthrough will be conducted in person at Uris
Hall.
3 Drawing A-001 Room B32 identified as a work area for this project. Per the
pre-bid this was a mistake, please confirm.
See Addendum 1 Item 2.
4 Drawing A-102
A-102 has patching noted for new lights in rooms B46, B44
and B44A. There are no lights called out for these rooms on E-
101. Please advise if lights need to be added in these rooms or
if the note on A-102 should be revised.

Please confirm Cornell will be responsible for providing
gowns to all workers on site

7 Drawing E-101 Key Note 1
Key note 1 is calling to add a switch for A3 lights, but no demo is called for on Architectural plans. Will the existing
conduits have enough space in them for an additional wire or
do the walls need to be opened and new conduit provided?
See Addendum 1 Item 10.
8 Drawing E-101
Drawing E-101 shows all switches as occupancy sensors
according to the Electrical Symbol List on Drawing E-001.
The occupancy sensors are not in the specs, they do give a
few options for Switch and device covers, but do not state
what switch cover is required at the different locations. Some
covers will work with an Occ sensor, but some will not.
Please clarify intent.

9 Drawing E-001
Drawing E-001 Wall Plates section Note E. outlines the use of a weatherproof Switch Cover Plate. Will this Switch Plate
be used at all New switch Location including B00CH1212?

Please confirm the GC will be responsible for the removal &
