Such changes are to be incorporated into the Construction Documents and shall apply to the work with the same meaning and force as if they had been included in the original document. Wherever this Addendum modifies a portion of a paragraph of the specifications or a portion of any Drawing, the remainder of the Paragraph or Drawing shall remain in force. NOTE: Provisions of all Contract Documents apply. Item 1. Specification Section 01 35 29 General Health & Safety ADD 1.10 GOWNS A. Owner will provide gowns for all workers for use in the work area. Item 2. Drawing A-001 DELETE work area Room B32. Item 3. Drawing A-102 DELETE Keyed Note 1 in its entirety. REPLACE with: NEW 5/8" FIBERROCK AQUA-TOUGH GYPSUM WALL BOARD CEILING OR APPROVED EQUAL. TAPED, SPACKLED AND PAINTED. COORDINATE NEW LIGHTING, MECHANICAL DIFFUSERS, ELECTRICAL DEVICES AND CEILING ACCESS PANELS. PAINT CEILING WITH BENJAMIN MOORE COROTECH PRE-CATALYSED WATERBORNE EPOXY SEMI-GLOSS (V341) – COLOR WHITE. PROTECT EXISTING EQUIPMENT TO REMAIN. ACCESS PANELS ARE TO BE 24” X 24” FULLY GASKETED STAINLESS STEEL AIRTIGHT ACCESS DOORS WITH A CONCEALED HINGE AND SCREW DRIVER OPERATED SS CAM LATCH, SIMILAR TO MODEL #BA-ADWT-SS-24-24 AS MANUFACTURED BY BEST ACCESS DOORS – PHONE #1-800-483-0823 OR APPROVED EQUAL. Item 4. Drawing A-102 – Rooms 39, 39A, B44, B44A, B46, B48, B50, B50A & B52 ADD Renovation Keyed Note 6: CAULK ALL CEILING PENETRATIONS WITH PECORA 898 SANITARY MILDEW RESISTANT SILICONE SEALANT OR EQUAL. INSERT the following note “Note 6 – PAINT EXISTING CEILINGS. PROTECT EXISTING LIGHTING AND CEILING MOUNTED EQUIPMENT AS REQUIRED TO PAINT.” Item 6. Drawing M-001 – Mechanical General Note #8 ADD the following sentence to end of Mechanical General Note #8: CAULK ALL PENETRATIONS WITH PECORA 898 SANITARY MILDEW RESISTANT SILICONE SEALANT OR EQUAL. REPLACE with: ALL NEW WIRING TO BE INSTALLAED TO ALLOW FOR WASH DOWN. PROVIDE SURFACE MOUNT NON-METALLIC BOXES AND CONDUIT, WITH GASKETS AND SEALING TO BE WATER-TIGHT. Item 11. Drawing E-101 – SYMBOL LIST CLARIFICATION to symbol for switch on Electrical Symbols Legend to be: LIGHTING CONTROL STATION. CONNECT TO EXISTING CONTROLS FOR SPACE. NEW SWITCH OPERATORS TO BE HUBBELL/KILLARK GO2-GR33D N34 OR EQUAL WITH ASSOCIATED COVER PLATE TO FACILITATE MOUNTING IN A SINGLE GANG BOX WITH WEATHERPROOF COVER AS NOTED IN ADDENDUM.” Item 12. Instruction to Bidders, Page INS-2, Item 2.a. Please advise if certain percentages are required on this project. 2.1% and 2% are shown on the M/WBE utilization form contained within the front end specifications MWBE requirements are identified in the Bid Proposal Certification Form, Page BF-1, Item 2.a. 2 Instruction to Bidders A walk-through is indicated to take place the same day as the pre-bid meeting. Is this walk through being conducted in person with the contractors present or are we doing a "virtual walk-through" and contractors are to watch walk through via zoom, webex, etc. See Instruction to Bidders, INS-3, Item 4.a. Walkthrough will be conducted in person at Uris Hall. 3 Drawing A-001 Room B32 identified as a work area for this project. Per the pre-bid this was a mistake, please confirm. See Addendum 1 Item 2. 4 Drawing A-102 A-102 has patching noted for new lights in rooms B46, B44 and B44A. There are no lights called out for these rooms on E-101. Please advise if lights need to be added in these rooms or if the note on A-102 should be revised See Addendum 1 Item 5. 5 Specification Section 01 35 29 General Health & Safety Please confirm Cornell will be responsible for providing gowns to all workers on site See Addendum 1 Item 1. 6 Drawing A-102 Is there a spec on the access panels?See Addendum 1 Item 3. 7 Drawing E-101 Key Note 1 Key note 1 is calling to add a switch for A3 lights, but no demo is called for on Architectural plans. Will the existing conduits have enough space in them for an additional wire or do the walls need to be opened and new conduit provided? See Addendum 1 Item 10. 8 Drawing E-101 Drawing E-101 shows all switches as occupancy sensors according to the Electrical Symbol List on Drawing E- 001. The occupancy sensors are not in the specs, they do give a few options for Switch and device covers, but do not state what switch cover is required at the different locations. Some covers will work with an Occ sensor, but some will not. Please clarify intent. See Addendum 1 Item 11. 9 Drawing E-001 Drawing E-001 Wall Plates section Note E. outlines the use of a weatherproof Switch Cover Plate. Will this Switch Plate be used at all New switch Location including B00CH1212? See Addendum 1 Item 9.
