Page 1 CORNELL UNIVERSITY STATLER HALL CCB FACILITIES CONTRACTS DEAN’S SUITE RENOVATIONS 121 HUMPHREYS SERVICE BUILDING ITHACA, NEW YORK 14853-3701 ADDENDUM NO. 1 AUGUST 4, 2016 This Addendum contains changes to the requirements of the Contract Documents and Specifications. Such changes are to be incorporated into the Construction Documents and shall apply to the work with the same meaning and force as if they had been included in the original document. Wherever this Addendum modifies a portion of a paragraph of the specifications or a portion of any Drawing, the remainder of the Paragraph or Drawing shall remain in force. NOTE: Provisions of all Contract Documents apply. Item 1. Section 09 26 00 ADD the following paragraph: 2.4 SOUND ATTENUATION BLANKETS 1. Mineral Fiber Batt Insulation: Flexible or semi-rigid preformed batt or blanket, complying with ASTM C665 Type 1; unfaced flame spread index of 0 (zero) when tested in accordance with ASTM E84. a. The Owner will remove and store the furniture for the duration of construction and will reinstall once the Work is completed. Cones and warning signs will be sufficient protection and separation of occupants from contractor's work. 5 Pre-Bid Meeting Staging area Staging will take place within the work area. Space for a dumpster will also be availabe.
