Drawing E4.0 is correct for this item, but revised and re-issued with Addendum 1, Item 22 to address other questions. 36 Drawing E4.0 and Spec 26 35 14 The 93PM is a unity power factor UPS. The 100KVA is a 100KW UPS. It can be provided with a power rating of 80KVA/80KW, as well. Agree with statement as submitted - needs to be clarified by submittal from successful provider of the UPS. 37 Drawing E4.0 and Spec 26 35 15 Input Voltage is 480V. and the Output Voltage is 480V. The Drawing shows a 112.5KVA Transformer. Who is supplying this ? Eaton can supply the transformer in a matching cabinet ( 31”W). Transformer to supply 208V is required as shown/specified. Contractors/subcontractors to coordinate who supplys transformer. Cabinet is desireable, but not a requirement. 38 Reference E6.0: The Panel Schedules seem to be incomplete. It appears that HDP-31B is a new panel but it’s not on the Panel Schedule. Is HDP-31B new or existing? If new, please provide a Panel Schedule. See drawing E2.1, Note 2. 39 Reference E2.0, Note 13 and E2.1, Note 2: These notes burden the contractor with determining kAIC ratings. Cornell has this information. In order to facilitate fair and competitive bids, can Cornell provide this information? See Addendum 1, Items 20 and 21. 40 E.X Series It would be helpful to have Panel Schedules for: HDP-31B, LPP-33, LPP-33A and LPP-32. Will these Panel Schedules be issued? No. 41 Reference E2.0, Room 302. No Power Supplies are shown for Laser Safety Interlock System. How many are required? Where are they located? See Addendum No. 1, Items 17, 20 and 23. 42 Reference 28 51 01 Is the system being installed a Non-Defeatable or a Defeatable system? Please provide a complete Bill Of Material for the Laser Safety Interlock System. See Addendum No. 1, Item 23. RFI/Page/ Response Dwg./Spec./Rep.Section/Design Team Index Number Paragraph/Topic RFI Response 43 Reference Detail A/E5.0 and A6.1, Lab 302 – Laser Curtain Detail, Notes: 28 51 01 It seems that the Laser Curtain ‘Doors’ in Room 302 will require (4) Door Switches. The Notes on A/E5.0 seem to indicate these switches are NOT part of 28 51 01 (Laser Safety System) but are part of 10 22 07 (Kentek Laser Curtain Package). The Notes on A6.1 seem to conflict with the Notes on A/E5.0. Are these switches part of 10 22 07 or 28 51 01? If part of 28 51 01, please provide a catalog number. See Addendum No. 1, Items 13 and 23. 44 Reference E2.1, 26 35 13 [UPS] and 26 22 00 (3.2) [XFMRs] Housekeeping pads are not indicated on E2.1. Housekeeping pads are not required by 26 35 13 [UPS]. 26 22 00 (3.2) requires housekeeping pads for transformers. Should the 26 22 00 (3.2) requirement be deleted? See Addendum 1, Items 6 and 12.
