It is requested that the Certificate of Legal Occupancy that is to beissued upon satisfactory completion of this work include the reclassification ofthe building to a congregate living facility.3.Protect all existing finish surfaces to remain. Patch existing construction tomatch existing adjacent finishes to remain at all removals and as required atpenetrations. Contractor is responsible for all damage resulting from their work,whether inside or outside the Project Area limits.4.All wires, cables and ductwork serving areas outside of the constructionphase under progress must be maintained operational. Temporary provisionsmay be required to be utilized to achieve this requirement.5.Verify all dimensions in the field. Do not scale drawings to obtain dimensions.Contact architect for any critical dimensions required to perform proposed work.6.Contractor shall verify location and routing of all existing ducts, pipes,conduits and other MEP systems distribution pathways being modified oraffecting the work. Modify and relocate as required to achieve fire ratings, installdampers and to achieve code compliance of fire separations. Notify the architectof all deviations.7.Contractor is responsible for cutting and/or modifying openings into existingwalls, floors and ceilings and for removal and reinstallation of all items includingbut not limited to any permanently attached fixtures and furnishings, millwork, MEPequipment and fixtures, piping, conduit, ductwork, etc. as required to providework indicated on drawings. Unless otherwise indicated all removed items andfinishes must be restored to their previous condition. Materials and finishes mustmatch adjacent existing surfaces unless otherwise indicated.8.Extend all partitions from floor to underside of floor or roof above, seal allvoids, unless noted otherwise.9.All existing and proposed penetrations through rated wall, floor, ceilingassemblies shall be fire stopped per BCNYS Section 712 Penetrations.
