1. THE FOLLOWING ASBESTOS CONTAINING / ASBESTOS CONTAMINATED MATERIALS ARE NOT SHOWN BUT SHALL BE REMOVED AT
ALL LOCATIONS WHERE PRESENT ON THE 2ND FLOOR:
A. WALL MOUNTED BOARDS AND THEIR ASSOCIATED MASTIC/ADEHSIVE. REFERENCE DRAWING AR -0000 NOTE 7-F FOR
ABATEMENT INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS.
B. DOOR SLABS WITH ASSUMED ASBESTOS CONTAINING CORE MATERIAL. REFERENCE DRAWING AD -0120 FOR 2ND FLOOR DOORS
TO BE REMOVED. REFERENCE DRAWING AR -0000 NOTE 7-G FOR ABATEMENT INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS.
C. SINK BRACE MASTIC. REFERENCE DRAWING AR -0000 NOTE 7-J FOR ABATEMENT INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS.
D. WINDOWS/ WINDOW SYSTEMS. REFERENCE DRAWING AR -0000 NOTE 7-P FOR ABATEMENT INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS.
E. CURTAIN WALL SYSTEM. REFERENCE DRAWING AR -0000 NOTE 7-Q FOR ABATEMENT INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS.
2. ASBESTOS CONTAINING FLOOR TILE (VAT) SHOWN ON DRAWING AR -0003 REPRESENTS THE CONFIRMED LOCATIONS OF VAT AND
MAY NOT REPRESENT ALL LOCATIONS WHERE VAT IS PRESENT ON THE 2ND FLOOR. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE
FOR THE REMOVAL OF ALL 9" X 9" FLOOR TILE PRESENT ON THE 2ND FLOOR. REFERENCE DRAWING AR -0000 NOTE 7-A FOR
ADDITIONAL VAT ABATEMENT INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS.
3. ASBESTOS CONTAINING PIPE AND PIPE FITTING INSULATION (TSI) SHOWN ON DRAWING AR -0003 REPRESENT THOSE 2ND FLOOR
SPACES WHERE THE MATERIAL IS CONFIRMED TO BE PRESENT. TSI IS ALSO ASSUMED TO BE PRESENT IN CONCEALED
WET -WALLS, PIPE CHASES, AND HARD CEILING PLENUM SPACES. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REMOVAL
OF ALL ASBESTOS CONTAINING PIPE AND PIPE FITTING INSULATION PRESENT ON THE 2ND FLOOR. REFERENCE MECHANICAL
DEMOLITION DRAWINGS MD -2002A / MD2002B AND PLUMBING DEMOLITION DRAWING PD -2002 FOR EXISTING 2ND FLOOR PIPING
