Such changes are to be incorporated into the Construction Documents and shall apply to the work with the same meaning and force as if they had been included in the original document. REPLACE with standard 1/2” gypsum wall/ceiling board, and paint. Fire-rated Glass and Framing Systems DELETE the Fire-rated glass and framing system at Door #011. REPLACE with 1hr-rated hollow metal frame, 45min-rated, HM Door (door type elevation to remain the same), and ‘Firelite Plus’ 45min.-rated Fire-Rated, Safety-Rated Glass Ceramic glazing (thickness as required to achieve required rating). Paint HM Frame and Door. Revise Door Hardware - Set #07 to include: Hinges, Exit Device, Closer, Silencers, Wall Stop. Frame/Mullion configuration and dimensions (interior elevation) to remain the same. Strip/Re-seal Existing Concrete Floor DELETE the requirement to strip and re-seal the entire existing concrete floor surface within the Work Area. REPLACE with strip and prep concrete floor only in areas to receive new floor painting, following paint manufacturer’s recommendations. Storm Drainage & Associated Piping, Fittings, & Accessories DELETE the scope of work to include excavations, sub-grade piping, fitting, and connections associated with storm drainage from two new area drains in the lower landing of the new Exterior Stair areaway, and base slab of the Exhaust areaway. REPLACE with alternate design indicated on the attached Sketch Drawing(s) numbered: SK-M3, SK-M4. Affected Specifications: none. Affected Drawings: M1.01, M2.01 10. Substitutions a. The Base Bid is predicated on compliance with the Drawings and Specifications without substitutions. b. The Bidder may offer substitutions for any item noted in the Specifications, with the exception of Form of Contract, General Conditions and General Requirements - Division 1, by listing in the space below the proposed substitution, together with the amount to be deducted from the Base Bid if the substitution is accepted. c. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any proposed substitution. d. The sum stated includes any modifications of work or additional work that may be required by reason of acceptance of substitution. Substitute materials must be approved and accepted by the Owner in writing before same may be used in lieu of those named in the Specifications. Current scope should be for four (4) VAV boxes only. 2 In reference to the Storm drainage & Associated piping, fittings, & Accessories deduct there is no specification on pipe to be used for the discharge of the Liberty drain basin. Can some on please clarify what material they would like used for the discharge piping on this new system. Provide Type L copper.
