PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO APPENDIX D OF THE CIVIL SERVICE RULES Commissioner Richardson made a motion to open the public hearing on the proposal to amend Appendix D by adding a second position of Building Commissioner to the Unclassified Service. Seconded by Commissioner Thompson. Motion carried 3-0 . No one appeared to speak on the proposed amendment . Commissioner Richardson made a motion to close the public hearing. Seconded by Commissioner Thompson. Motion carried 3-0 . APPROVAL OF MINUTES Commissioner Thompson made a motion to approve the minutes of the February 26, 2001 meeting. Seconded by Commissioner Richardson. Motion carried 3-0 . NEW BUSINESS New Position Duties Statement: ICSD - Supplemental Program Organizer The Commission reviewed and discussed a New Position Duties Statement from the Ithaca City School District. Commissioner Thompson made a motion to classify the position as Supplemental Program Organizer. Seconded by Commissioner Richardson. Motion carried 3-0. New Position Duties Statement: Controller's Office - Principal Account Clerk The Commission reviewed and discussed a New Position Duties Statement from the City Controller' s Office . Commissioner Thompson made a motion to classify the position as Principal Account Clerk. Seconded by Commissioner Richardson. Motion carried 3-0 . Civil Service Commission April 5, 2001 Page 2 CONTINUING BUSINESS Commissioner Richardson made a motion to go into executive session to discuss civil service examination matters . Seconded by Commissioner Thompson. Motion carried 3-0 . Seconded by Commissioner Richardson. Motion carried 3-0.
