The Town would like to see other municipalities contribute as well. The goal is to begin talks with the County and other municipalities about contributions to support these parks and facilities. The IYB heating system is being worked on currently and the roof and sprinklers have been completed. The Ithaca Times is now being delivered to the IYB, thank you Joanie Groom for arranging this. She advised that Kim Olsen of the Outing Program has been working with an adult program and it has been excellent. Brandon worked with the College Discovery Program over the summer and that was very successful. There are many changes coming to NYS in the near future, Challenge Industries is no longer accepting adults that have graduated. The Racker Center is trying to help and they are considering doing some day programming ran by Courtney Glenn to help these adults have something to do during the week. Group homes are closing for adults. There is a dance next Wednesday at Ithaca College at Emerson, 6:30-8:30. The RSS calendars are online on their website. Talyse was able to do the monitoring of PSMP as well as the shadowing she did over the summer. She went through the monitoring forms with Eloise and finished the paperwork for the monitoring and will bring that to the next meeting to file with Jody.
