Home My WebLink AboutMN-CIV-1993-02-08 REGULAR MEETING CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION February 8, 1993 Present: Commissioner Bantuvanis, Commissioner Middleton, Commissioner Perko, Valerie Saul (Personnel Administrator) , Bonnie Fiorille (Personnel Associate) Commissioner Bantuvanis called the meeting to order at 11:05 a.m. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Commissioner Perko made a motion to accept the minutes of the January 19, 1993 meeting. Seconded by Commissioner Middleton. Motion carried. NEW BUSINESS APPROVAL OF 1992 ANNUAL REPORT The Commission reviewed and discussed the 1992 Annual Report. Personnel Administrator Saul stated that the total number of classified positions for the City are down due to the reduction of staff City-wide through attrition. Commissioner Perko made a motion to accept the 1992 Annual Report. Seconded by Commissioner Middleton. Motion carried. NEW POSITION DUTIES STATEMENT - YOUTH WORKER: YOUTH BUREAU The Commission reviewed a New Position Duties Statement submitted by the Youth Bureau for the position of Youth Worker. This position is located at GIAC and involves working with youth ages 3 1/2 - 11 in the After School Program. Commissioner Perko made a motion to classify the position of Youth Worker. Seconded by Commissioner Middleton. Motion carried. CONTINUING BUSINESS Commissioner Bantuvanis made a motion to go into Executive Session. Motion carried. After Executive Session, the Commission took the following action: APPROVAL OF PERSONNEL TRANSACTIONS Commissioner Middleton made a motion to accept the following Personnel Transactions.
