Home My WebLink AboutMN-CIV-1992-10-14 REGULAR MEETING CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION October 14, 1992 Present: Commissioner Bantuvanis, Commissioner Perko, Commissioner Middleton, Bonnie Fiorille (Personnel Associate) Commissioner Bantuvanis called the meeting to order at 11:00 a.m. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Commissioner Perko made a motion to accept the minutes of the September 14, 1992 meeting. Seconded by Commissioner Middleton. Motion carried. NEW BUSINESS DESIGNATION OF PHYSICIAN FOR SECTION 72 EXAMINATION Personnel Associate Fiorille explained to the Commission that the School District feels it is necessary to place one of their employees on medical leave due to a disability that is not job related. Personnel Associate Fiorille recommended that the Commission designate Dr. Thomas Aiello and Dr. Edward Downing of Syracuse to conduct the Section 72 medical examination. Commissioner Middleton made a motion to designate Doctor's Aiello and Downing to conduct a Section 72 medical examination. Seconded by Commissioner Perko. Motion carried. REVISION OF JOB DESCRIPTION: YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM LEADER (AUTOMOTIVE PROGRAM) Personnel Associate Fiorille explained to the Commission that NYS Civil Service is recommending that we make a few minor revisions to the "Full Performance, Knowledge, Skills" section of the job description. After reviewing the changes, Commissioner Perko made a motion to revise the job description for Youth Development Program Leader (Automotive Program) . Seconded by Commissioner Middleton. Motion carried. APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTIVE SECRETARY Personnel Associate Fiorille is recommending that the Commission appoint Lisa Patz as the Executive Secretary to the Civil Service Commission until December 31, 1992. Commissioner Middleton made a motion to appoint Lisa Patz as Executive Secretary to the Civil Service Commission. Seconded by Commissioner Perko. Motion carried. CONTINUING BUSINESS Commissioner Bantuvanis made a motion to go into Executive Session. Motion carried. Seconded by Commissioner Perko. Motion carried. The next Civil Service Commission meeting will be at 11:00 a.m. on November 16, 1992.
