Report from Common Council: Alderperson Shenk briefly discussed the residency requirement that Common Council is reviewing. She noted that the latest change is that Common Council is considering a 3 year residency requirement, not a permanent situation, noting that this will counteract the problem of hiring candidates off the City list only to have them move outside the City after they are hired.
