Report of the Chief: Chief McEwen noted that Chris Xavier from Channel 7 has contacted him to do a pro/con discussion with a local attorney (either Bill Sullivan or Commissioner Sarachan) regarding the exclusionary rule. Discussion followed about some of the official duties of the Community Police Board and Chief McEwen pointed out that the Community Police Board serves as the appeal board for Taxi Cab Drivers Licenses. That is, if Chief McEwen should deny a taxi cab drivers license, the only recourse for the applicant would be to appeal to the Community Police Board. The Community Police Board decided to place this item on the agenda for next month to discuss policy. t Ithaca Community Police Board Page 2 Meeting Minutes April 28, 1995 6.
