MINUTES: Ithaca Community Police Board
PLACE: Second Floor Conference Room, City Hall
TIME & DATE: February 24, 1995 at 2:30 p.m.
PRESENT: Commissioners Nelson, Sarachan, Seligmann, Teasley, Yarrow.
Deputy Chief Barnes.
1 . Commissioner Teasley called the meeting to order.
2. Approve Minutes of Meeting of January 27, 1995
It was noted that under those present, Kirby Edmonds should be deleted.
Approve Minutes of Meeting of January 27, 1995 as amended
by Commissioner Seligmann, seconded by Commissioner Nelson.
RESOLVED, That the minutes of the January 27, 1995 Community Police
Board Meeting be approved as amended.
Carried Unanimously
3. Report from Common Council: Alderperson Shenk was not present.
4. Comments from the Public: There were no members of the public present.
5. Report of the Chief: Deputy Chief Barnes noted that Chief McEwen sent
his apologies for not being able to attend.
6. Comments from PBA President: PBA President Mike Gray was not present.
7. Old Business: The Community Police Board approved the liaison list and
asked that letters be sent to the various groups/agencies.
8. New Business: There was no new business.
9. Adiournment: The next meeting of the Community Police Board is
scheduled to be held on March 24, 1995 at 2:30 p.m. in the second floor
conference room of City Hall.
On a motion by Commissioner Sarachan, seconded by Commissioner
Nelson, the Community Police Board adjourned into Executive Session at
3:05 p.m.
