AUGUST 16 , 1990 : SPECIAL MEETING
MINUTES
PRESENT: Commissioners Cornelius , Baker, Reeves and Neigh;
ABSENT: Commissioner Howell .
1 . Chairman Cornelius called the meeting to order at 1640 hrs .
2. Commissioner Baker made a motion that the Board move into
Executive Session to consider a request of a needy member.
Seconded by Commissioner Neigh. Carried unanimously.
3 . The Board resumed open session at 1645 hrs . Commissioner
Reeves moved that a request of a needy member of Co . #1 be
approved and that the City Chamberlain be authorized to pay
$179 . 24 from the Firemen' s Relief Fund. Seconded by
Commissioner Neigh. Carried unanimously.
4 . The met with representatives of VFIS and Unity Insurance
companies regarding their proposals for the Volunteer Length
of Service Awards Program.
5 . The meeting concluded at 2000 hrs .
