New Business:
Co -Chair Rogers asked Information Specialist Day whether the City Clerks Office could answer
phone calls coming in on the Community Police Board phone line or would they go directly to
the answering machine. Discussion followed regarding the closing of the CPB Office at GIAC
and the support that would be provided by the City Clerk's Office.
Discussion followed on the floor regarding new member packets given to new Board members.
Ideas were discussed about the Clerks Office handing them out to newly appointed members as
they are sworn in or, whether the Commissioners would continue to hand them out as new

The Community Police Board would like to conduct more outreach to the community when the
board is fully staffed (ie. education on what to do if stopped by a police officer).
