Present: Commissioners Wigden, Slattery, Laskowitz, Hill, Youth Board Member
Perkins, Nelson, Flannery, Staff, N. Falconer.
Excused: Commissioners Passmore, Whispell ,Liaison Absent; Chief Signer
1. Approval of minutes of September 28, 2006: Moved by Laskowitz, second by
Slattery, approved unanimously.
2. No public was present.
3. No Common Council Report
4. No report from the Police Department:
5. Old Business
a) budget discussion: Possibility of buying laptop and or hauling cart for tablings.
b) Results of tabling at Apple Festival.
c)Discussion of need for more contact with police department.
6.New business
a) Change of meeting dates for holidays ahead. Changed to November 16 and
December 21 06. Room subject to availability.
7. Motion made to adjourn to Executive Session by Slattery.
8. Six complaints were discussed.
Three new complaints were assigned for investigation, three others discussed.
1. One investigation was voted closed because of no further response. (category
withdrawn) Unanimous vote: Laskowitz, Slattery, Nelson, Wigden, Hill, Perkins
and Flannery. No abstentions.
2. Commissioner Hill reported that the investigation she was working on had
expressed herself satisfied after that initial conversation. Voted Conciliated,
unanimously: Laskowitz, Slattery, Nelson, Widen, Hill, Perkins and Flannery. No
abstentions.
3. Investigation held over, meeting arranged but not accomplished.
