Present: Commissioners Wigden, Slattery, Laskowitz, Hill, Youth Boanbel
Perkins, Nelson, Chief Signer, Deputy Chief Curatolo, Staff, N. Falconer.
Excused: Commissioners Passmore, Flannery, Whispell Absent; Common Council
Liaison
1. Approval of minutes of November 17,2005: Moved by Laskowitz, second by
Slattery, approved unanimously.
2. No public was present.
3. No Common Council Report
4. Report from the Police Department:
a) America's Most Wanted will air the segment about Ithaca on January 7 at 9 p.m.
on Fox Channel 8.
b) Discussion of vacancies and appointments followed.
Deputy Chief Hans will retire at the end of January, as scheduled.
c) An award ceremony for the Department will be held on Wednesday, January 25,
2006 at the Holiday Inn. Dressy event, about twenty categories of awards, time
about 6 pm, CPB is invited.
5. Old Business:
a) Pending return of permission slips, Commissioners Perkins and Wigden will
be scheduled for ride alongs
6. No New business
7. Motion made to adjourn to Executive Session by Slattery.
8. One new case was discussed and decision made that since it occurred Caroline, in
it probably did not involve Ithaca City Police.
One investigation was voted founded. Unanimous vote
