and Officer Hubble. Excused: RQp Passmore

_Officer Firman explained his role w a new Cemmuaity Offcer.
3. Report from Common Council
Common Council Liaison was not present.
4. Report from the Police Department

5. Old Business
a) The tabling at the Chili Cookout on the Commons went well and Commissioners Wigden,
Laskowitz and staff were present for 3 hours dispensing balloons and folders to the public
b) Commissioner Wigden responded to the Starlight Club's request to attend a Pegasys
presentation, but has not received an answtr from them yet.
c) Commissioner Wigden handed out a list of behaviors that Chief Loo gave him (much the
same as the one he and the subcommittee. have pulled together) re desirable reactions on the
part of the public when confronted with a police officer who is questioning or arresting the
citizen.) These will be copied and available at future tablings, as well as other designations .
6. New Business
a) Commissioner Nelson who is a member of the Cayuga Kiwanis Club presented the
possibility of helping to host a spaghetti dinner wiib Kiwanis Club in order to honor the local
police force and firemen. Discussion followed, and general approval was expressed.
Commissioner Nelson will bring back details to this Board for final approval.
7. Motion to adjourn to Executive Session Moved by Commissioner Laskowitz.
8. Return to Public Session
_Five investigations were discussed. Three were carried forward, no action taken.
